Step aboard The Golden Hinde for an intimate solo performance by Roddy Radiation, legendary guitarist, songwriter and founding member of one of Britain's most influential bands, The Specials.
As a key architect of The Specials' groundbreaking blend of ska, punk and rocksteady, Roddy helped define the sound of the 2 Tone movement and wrote some of the band's most enduring songs, including Concrete Jungle, Rat Race and Hey, Little Rich Girl. His distinctive guitar style and songwriting played a pivotal role in shaping a generation of British music.
Performing solo, Roddy strips things back for a unique evening of classic songs, stories from an extraordinary career, and the unmistakable sound that helped shape British ska. This rare, up-close performance offers fans the chance to experience one of the genre's true pioneers in an intimate setting unlike any other.
Set within the atmospheric surroundings of a faithful reconstruction of Sir Francis Drake's famous Tudor ship, this promises to be a memorable evening of live music aboard one of London's most unique venues.
