Frost Fair at The Golden Hinde

On a cold January Saturday, The Golden Hinde came alive with warmth, creativity, and music as we hosted a day-to-night Frost Fair inspired by the historic winter celebrations once held on the frozen River Thames. Taking place as part of Better Bankside’s Frost Fair and forming part of our wider 30th anniversary programme, the event invited visitors to step out of the winter chill and into the timbered heart of the ship for a series of free, heritage-inspired activities celebrating craft, play, and community.
