Step aboard The Golden Hinde for a vibrant, family-friendly celebration of music, creativity, and community as ONENESS presents the Gospel Pirate Community Day.

For one day only, the ship will be transformed into a “Gospel Ship”, bringing together live performances, workshops, and activities for all ages. Expect an uplifting programme of gospel music, dance, creativity, and community engagement in one of London’s most unique historic settings.

REDEEM - site-specific dance performance exploring themes of struggle, identity, and renewal

Activities & Workshops

Throughout the day, visitors can take part in a range of creative and interactive activities, including:

  • Jewellery making (create and take home a piece)

  • Pirate-themed craft workshop (design a pirate hat or ship sail)

  • Organic perfume-making (subject to availability)

  • Face painting and glitter decoration

The Pirate Redesign Competition offers participants the chance to win a family trip to Disneyland Paris. Please note that capacity for this activity is limited and operates on a first come, first served basis. Time per participant will be restricted to ensure fair access.

Live Music:

Live gospel performances will take place throughout the day, featuring:

  • Gospel Touch

  • Soul Evangelists

  • K & G Gospel Choirs

Further performance timings will be confirmed.

Food & Drink:

Food will be available on the day from What Keziah Cooks, the catering company of former Young Master Chef of the Year, Keziah Whittaker.

  • This is a family-friendly event; children must be accompanied by an adult

  • Some activities have limited capacity and may involve queueing

  • The ship is a historic environment with steep stairs and uneven surfaces

  • Visitors are encouraged to dress in pirate-themed costumes
