Doors 7.30pm | Performance 8pm
Step aboard The Golden Hinde for an intimate evening of live music with award-winning singer, songwriter, pianist and composer Belinda O’Hooley.
Renowned for her distinctive voice, powerful piano playing and fearless storytelling, Belinda is one half of acclaimed folk duo O’Hooley & Tidow, with whom she has toured internationally and received four BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nominations. She also co-wrote “Gentleman Jack”, the closing theme to Sally Wainwright’s hit BBC/HBO drama of the same name.
Now forging a solo path, Belinda brings together folk tradition, contemporary songwriting and her distinctive piano style to create music that is moving, witty, political and deeply human.
Alongside her music, Belinda has also appeared on screen as DCS Liz Thornton in the BAFTA-winning series Happy Valley.
