Step aboard The Golden Hinde for a lively evening of sea shanties and folk harmony with Isle ‘Ave A Shanty.
This six-piece a cappella group bring a rich blend of traditional maritime songs and folk-inspired arrangements, alongside their own original material. Known for their warmth, humour and strong sense of camaraderie, their performances invite audiences to join in — whether singing along, clapping to the rhythm, or simply soaking up the atmosphere.
Despite hailing from the landlocked Isle of Ely, the group have built a reputation for delivering authentic and engaging performances rooted in the spirit of the sea. Their shows are full of character, storytelling and good-natured energy, taking audiences on a musical journey across oceans, countryside and taverns alike.
The band consists of ‘Able Seaman’ Andrew Newton, Lee ‘Kiss Me Harvey’, ‘Long John’ Tony Calladine, ‘Sea Sick’ Stuart Green, Elliott ‘Sea’ Spray, & ‘Captain’ Kevin King.
Following a sold-out performance aboard the ship in 2022, Isle ‘Ave A Shanty return for another unforgettable night in one of London’s most unique live music venues.
Set within the intimate surroundings of a historic Tudor galleon, this promises to be an evening of music, laughter and shared experience not to be missed.
